Residential care refers to long-term care given to adults who stay in a residential setting rather than in their own home or family home, this includes but is not limited to people with mental health problems, Alzheimer’s, dementia or who are frail aged.
If home based care is not available or appropriate for the individual then residential care may be required.
Quality of life is always an important consideration, particularly as we get older. Choosing to live in a care home can make a dramatic difference to individuals finding it harder to manage on their own, or who need more help than they currently receive.
The Gables is where all of our services focus on maintaining people’s dignity, catering to their individual needs and creating a warm, safe community environment where they feel a strong sense of belonging and enjoy a great quality of life.
